Bye Bye Consultant

Unfortunately this book by Cees Min is currently only in Dutch. Bye Bye Consultant is an extraordinary atypical management book. It is a “zap” book with a lot of artwork and design that communicates the books messages in a thought provoking manner.

The book talks about the failure of change processes. Per annum 10 billion dollars is spend and 80% gets wasted. Consultants are stuck with their models and principles that don’t work. The author takes the reader back to pragmatism and common sense. Some statements: “Culture doesn’t exist,” “Mission statements are bullshit” and “an MBA is like taking a computer based training course on ball room dancing”.
